Zunj Divyang Sanstha Ashram Training Centre, founded in 2014 by President Raju Hirve, is a dedicated NGO based in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, that champions the empowerment and education of differently-abled individuals. With a mission to foster self-reliance and social inclusion, ZUNJ provides practical training in essential skills like mobile repair, tailoring, beauty services, and data entry. Over 2,000 individuals have benefitted from these programs, gaining skills to build independent futures.
Beyond vocational training, ZUNJ extends support through the free distribution of essential equipment such as wheelchairs and crutches and facilitates inclusive community initiatives like inter-caste marriage ceremonies. The NGO also creates job opportunities via NHFDC programs, provides free UDI cards, and offered critical support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
ZUNJ is committed to skill development through tailored vocational training programs designed to equip individuals with practical skills that enable economic independence. Our courses in *mobile repair, tailoring, beauty parlour operations, and data entry* are structured to meet industry standards, providing over 2,000 beneficiaries with hands-on training, professional guidance, and mentorship. Each course is led by experienced trainers and aims to enhance the self-confidence and job readiness of participants, empowering them to take control of their career paths.
Understanding the challenges differently-abled individuals face in finding employment, ZUNJ has collaborated with the *National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC)* to create job opportunities. Through these programs, we provide access to financing, job placements, and other resources that foster economic self-reliance. ZUNJ also offers *free UDI (Unique Disability ID) cards*, enabling individuals to access government benefits, which strengthens their social security and rights.
